The book of Proverbs compares the life of wisdom with the life of foolishness.  How we need this guidance in our day!  But the book of Proverbs offers so much more.  Ultimately, it points us back to Jesus, "who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”  (1 Corinthians 1:30)  As we seek to walk the path of wisdom we see our own deficiency to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.  The Bible would have us look to Jesus to save us from our sin and enable us to walk wisely in our world.  Lord, save and enable!
