It’s been so good to see people, in person, worshipping at the church building! Please see this link for regathering information if you happen to have missed it previously.
We’ll be having COMMUNION this Sunday, June 14, at both services. We’ve purchased self-contained communion cups and wafers to ensure health and safety.
We encourage all who are able, according to guidelines, to worship in person. How good it is to sing God’s praises together, to make our confession together, and to hear God’s Word together!
Grace and peace,
Christ Community Staff
This past April, our friends at the Shelby County Foster Parent Association reached out to us with a specific request. The teens and young adults in foster care in Shelby County were struggling emotionally to cope with school closures, job loss, and the fear/anxiety that we all experienced with coronavirus shutdowns and social distancing rules. To cheer them up, we contributed funds to purchase Easter "boxes" (more practical than baskets) for the kids in group homes and independent living situations. Thanks to your giving, those kids got a surprise blessing at Easter.
There will be more opportunities to bless those in need through our church. To give to either our general fund or Mercy fund, please follow these guidelines or use the "offering" basket in the foyer on Sunday.
